This training includes:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>a reflection on our own biases on gender diversity and how to become aware of these biases<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>a comprehensive session on understanding the definition of gender<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>information on educating and informing parents about the importance of parental support during the child\u2019s coming out process, through all of its stages<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>understanding the importance of the language for expressing our thoughts, therefore for mitigating any gender-based conflict<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>real life situations of gender-diverse people, providing information about differences between stereotype, stigma and discrimination noticing harmful consequences of all these kinds&nbsp;of&nbsp;prejudice<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2>1 INTRODUCTION TO TRAINING IN GENDER DIVERSITY<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<strong>General introduction to the training<\/strong>\r\n<strong>Our aptitude as parents \/ educators <\/strong>\r\n<strong>Preparation for training<\/strong>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nIn these videos Matthew Bartolo, sexologist and sex and relationship therapist, gives a general introduction to the Gender 101 training.&nbsp; He also creates a space for reflection about our own aptitude towards gender diversity and how we can become more aware of these biases in order to not let them effect our work.&nbsp; During the videos he will give a detailed explanation of how you can use these videos to prepare yourself for the following training by our partners.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2>2 GENDER DEFINITION<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<strong>Introduction\r\nTerms\r\nDimensions of gender\r\nGenderbread person\r\nGender spectrum\r\nIntersex; Conclusions<\/strong>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThis training is about understanding the definition of gender. In this masterclass we provide knowledge about the difference between gender and sex, provide an understanding about gender diversity, gender spectrum and we will be introducing ourselves to the Genderbread person.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2>3 PROCESS OF COMING OUT FOR CHILDREN &amp; PARENTS<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<strong>Process of Coming Out for the Parents\r\nProcess of Coming Out for the Children\r\nThe \u201cDiscovery\u201d Phase \u2013 Before Coming Out\r\nThe \u201cAcceptance\u201d Phase \u2013 During Coming Out\r\nThe \u201cEmbracement\u201d Phase \u2013 After Coming Out<\/strong>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThis masterclass provides participants with an in-depth understanding of the stages involved in the process of coming out, focusing on both the parent and the child&#8217;s experiences. Through this exploration, participants develop a mutual respect for the coming out process and recognise its unique nature for everyone.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2>4 SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN &amp; PARENTS<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<strong>Introduction\r\nSupport before a child comes out\r\nSupport when a child comes out\r\nSupport after a child comes out; Conclusion; Further readings and references<\/strong>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThis part of the masterclass is aimed at educating and informing parents about support and the importance of parental support during the child\u2019s coming out process, through all of its stages. They should be able to identify effective communication strategies and develop practical skills to provide emotional support.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2>5 LANGUAGE &amp; DISCRIMINATION<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<strong>Introduction\r\nLanguage in the GENDER 101 European countries\r\nLanguage issues in different environments (person \u2013 working \u2013 social)\r\nWhy improper use of gendered language can lead to discomfort\r\nWhat is gender neutral language?\r\nInclusive Language Guidance\r\nCase studies\r\nConclusions\r\nResources \/ references<\/strong>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThis training is focused on understanding the importance of the language for expressing our thoughts, therefore for mitigating any gender-based conflict. Here we provide learning contents, methods to use language respectfully in the gender contexts, as well as case studies and additional learning materials in the dedicated &#8216;More about this&#8217; sections.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2>6 REAL LIFE SITUATIONS<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<strong>Stereotypes and stigma\r\nMapping reality\r\nRecognition of problems Asking for advice\r\nSuggestions; Conclusions<\/strong>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThis part of the training creates an occasion to deal with the real life situations of, especially, gender-diverse people as no one should be left alone with his\/her\/their strugglings. Here we provide information about differences between stereotype, stigma and discrimination noticing harmful consequences of all these kinds of prejudice. We advise how to overcome being subjective and start respecting a child&#8217;s autonomy.
